Overview

MyPlan is a local-first personal planning app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how MyPlan handles your data.

The short version: All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers.

Data Storage

All data you create in MyPlan (calendar events, contacts, goals, notes, and map markers) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

No Accounts

MyPlan does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No Analytics or Tracking

MyPlan does not include any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data or behavioral information of any kind.

Permissions

MyPlan may request the following device permissions, each of which is optional:

• Contacts (read-only): Used only to import contacts from your device into the app for local use. Contact data is never transmitted externally.
• Location (when in use): Used only to display your current position on the map screen. Location data is never recorded or transmitted.
• Notifications: Used only to deliver local reminders for calendar events and goals. Notifications are generated entirely on your device.
• Photo Library: Used only to allow you to select images for contacts and notes. Photos are stored locally and never uploaded.

Your Controls

You have full control over your data:

• Export: You can export all your data as a JSON file from Settings.
• Delete: You can clear all app data from Settings at any time.
• Permissions: You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings app.

Third-Party Services

MyPlan uses Apple Maps (via MapKit) to display map content. Apple's privacy policy applies to map tile loading. MyPlan does not share your location or any personal data with Apple beyond what is required to render the map.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third parties. Period.

Children's Privacy

MyPlan does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data leaves your device, there is no data collection to speak of.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page and update the date above.
